Headlock Escape From Side Control to Mount to Armbar (Fundamentals)

Professor Frederico Silva teaches how to get the armbar submission, after escaping from a headlock from the side control. Frederico uses his arms to frame under the opponent’s head. He pendulums his legs as he pushes the opponent with his arms to reverse the opponent and get to the side control. The opponent still has the headlock, so Frederico uses the same frame to push up and make the opponent release the headlock. With the arm extended, Frederico is now able to go for the armbar submission.
